 This is a HIGH WATER WARNING due to the fact that the channel to the lake is closed. As of March 26th, 2012, the bay level is over all permanent docks and waves are going over the break walls.  Any additional rain this spring 2012 and our bay will rise to flood levels. In the event that we have the water levels  going up much further over the break walls, we will order an emergency dig to help flush out the bay opening with the hydraulic pressure of the high water. This typically costs roughly $400 with a backhoe to get it started. We are also considering a separate fund for those homeowners that are most impacted by the high water with lower elevation cottages.  The fact that we are over budget and underfunded is not helping the prospects of reopening our channel again for June 2012 without an increase in dues.  This is reality. Without fund raisers like Monte Carlo night and Bingo contributions, the Board will need to contemplate rising the dues to $100 this year to keep the channel open for the entire 2012 season.  Please send to our PO Box your 2012 Dues of $75 or more if you can afford it. If the membership votes for an increase in dues at our June 9^th annual meeting, we will notify you.
